JFK Commemorative Video Has Officially Launched

The JFK commemorative video JFK- In His Words has been officially released. In His Words features a variety of Irish personalities each contributing sections of the US President’s historic speeches during his time in Ireland.  The commemorative video is accompanied by a variety of other material that celebrates Kennedy’s famed trip to Ireland. The video was produced as part of the upcoming John F. Kennedy Homecoming memorial exhibition. JFK Homecoming is part of an exhibition and website which will open in Dublin, Ireland on June 21, 2013 at the National Library of Ireland in partnership with the U.S. Embassy, JFK Presidential Library in Boston, the National Archives and RTE.

 One Productions and the US Embassy would like to thank all the participants who donated their valuable time to on this production. Upon this launch, JFK Homecoming is requesting that anybody with any videos or photograph to please upload them to their website, so that we can all share in the experience that many had the opportunity of 50 years prior. Also, if there are any particular anecdotes or stories  that might be worth sharing, please visit the website as well. This is a grassroots initiative that aims to not only present JFK’s homecoming to a larger audience. But also allows for the opportunity for the viewers to take part as well.
