Prior to the release of their latest album Ellipsis, Biffy Clyro streamed a live Q&A followed by an acoustic session on their Facebook page. The stream was viewed live by 10,000 fans, and went on to gain over 700,000 views once it was over. With the strong marketing platform that Facebook provided, it helped bring the new album to the top of the charts.

How can you use Facebook Live?

Before you can start streaming, you’ll need your brand page to be verified by Facebook. This is easy to do; you can request verification from Facebook through your page under the settings by clicking Verify this Page. You’ll need to follow a few steps to prove your ownership of the page and the brand it represents, but it shouldn’t take long. And once your brand is verified, you can start receiving stream keys to stream your live videos on Facebook.
