Video Sharing PlatformSo, the series continues! Just to catch you up to speed, over the past couple of weeks we have been looking at alternative video sharing platforms that you can you use when creating your marketing strategy. We all know the big ones: YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion. But they aren’t the only options available. Today we look at a company called Vzaar

Vzaar: Video Sharing Platform

So what is Vzaar? Well, Vzaar (Where Video meets Bazaar) is a video sharing platform established in London in 2007 by former eBay employees.

Originally designed as a video hosting platform for eBay, Vzaar quickly branched out and began to offer their services to other businesses. They have made it clear from the beginning that they were different from YouTube and Vimeo. You see, Vzaar serves commercial videos only. This means that they do not cater for entertainment use.

So what features does Vzaar have:

Pricing: Starts from €20 per month. However, they do offer a 30 day free trial

Uploading: Vzaar allows you to upload 10 videos at once. You can even upload them on the go from your mobile communications device (your phone).

Customisation: This video sharing platform allows you to choose from a variety of colours to help your video match your company colours. Alternatively, you can actually remove the borders of the video completely for a more minimalist look.

Privacy: You can control the security of your videos by deciding which websites are allowed to play your videos. They also offer Video Watermarking as well.

Vzaar is also compatible with Google Analytics as well, which is handy for checking your results!

Customers: Vzaar has also has a variety of high profile customers. These clients include: Toys R’ Us (I couldn’t seem to get the R to turn around.. Sorry!), eBay and GettyImages. Another cool thing is that one of Vzaar’s shareholders is Academy Award-Winning Filmmaker Oliver Stone!

So, thats about it, in a nutshell. From the looks of it, Vzaar seems to be a pretty reliable video hosting site.
