Harvey’s bar and restaurant, Waterford – web design and branding

Harvey’s bar and restaurant in Waterford was given a major image overhaul by One Productions, which assumed responsibility for the web design, brand design and promotional material for the venue.

Brothers Chris and Darryl Kavanagh spent €1.7 million in renovating and refurbishing Harvey’s into a multi purpose-venue capable of accommodating 1,400 clients with a 6,000 square foot garden bar.

After developing the logo and colour guide, One Productions developed a suite of stationery consistent with the new brand, including letterheads, comp slips and business cards. The first public execution of the brand was in the recruitment advertising to hire staff. Before the pub was to open, One Productions designed and launched their new website.

For the opening, we produced several flyers, a building banner, posters and information cards complete with location map. We also created advertising campaigns for Christmas and the New Year, both 48 sheets and newspaper advertising. Two different menus were developed for Harvey’s – one four page A4 full colour menu and an A3 tabloid-style newspaper menu, along with comment cards for the restaurant customers.

Harvey’s on Manor Street, Waterford, attracted customers with its heated garden bar, French cuisine, late opening hours and table service with the bar catering for strictly over 21′s.
