One Productions was founded on the turn of the millennium. In the past ten years, our team has evolved to become a strong creative and productive force.

Tom Hopkins - Director

Tom is Managing Director of One Productions, and an Art Director with 20 years experience in media and advertising. Since 1991, he has worked in agencies and production companies in Dublin, Milan, London and San Francisco. The extensive list of clients for whom he has completed media work include Pfizer, Guinness, CRO, Microsoft and Sony. A graduate of Dun Laoghaire film school in 1997, his work has appeared on RTE, BBC, TG4 and film festivals worldwide, including the prestigious Venice film festival.

Laura Hopkins - Director

Laura has over 10 years of project management experience and is responsible for client relations within the organisation. She works as Account Manager on several of the company’s key accounts such as the Mental Health Commission and Bennett Construction. Prior to joining One Productions, she worked in Italy and Switzerland, co-ordinating local and remotely located teams working to pressure deadlines. As an artist, Laura designs bespoke jewellery and has exhibited several collections.

Aki Aro - Head of Design

Senior Designer with One Productions since 2002, Aki holds a Masters Degree from Trinity College Dublin, having studied Music and Media Technologies. Aki has developed brands for a number of public sector and private clients including the NCSE and Pobal, and has vast experience and knowledge of print production and preparation. An audio-visual artist whose work has been shown both locally and in New York, Aki has a keen interest in emerging AV trends and technologies.

Ciara Bailey - Head of Marketing and PR

Ciara has been with One Productions since 2005, and has acted as Production Co-ordinator and Account Manager for clients such as Fulbright, Sisk and The O2. Taking a year’s leave, she developed her skills working as a freelance Account Manager in Sydney, and returned to One Productions in 2009. She has now moved into the role of One Productions' Marketing & PR manager. A talented scriptwriter, Ciara received an award for Best Short Film Script while at college and has had several scripts produced into short films.

Erika Cruz - Business Co-ordinator

Erika joined One Productions in 2010 and has over ten years experience in event management. She has co-ordinated large-scale international events covering monetary and executive deliverables. Her extensive management experience coupled with her comprehensive financial background provides One Productions with a superb support for both the Account and Creative Teams. She enjoys creating woolen craftworks, combining a fusion of organic and unconventional materials to create original and stylish designs.

Aidan Gibson - Head of Audio Visual

Aidan has an honours degree in Video and Film from Dundalk Institute of Technology and is One Productions’ Audio Visual Lead. He oversees the pre and post-production in our AV studio, and works on the edit of larger projects. Past work include promotional videos for DkIT, events videos for Guinness and a variety of video content for Glenisk. Aidan’s interactive film Split Thread won the Kieran Hegarty Award for Interactivity at the Celtic Media Festival in 2011.

Matthew Stocker - Marketing Executive

Matthew recently joined One Productions as Marketing Executive. He has a B.A. in English Studies from Trinity College Dublin and is currently undertaking an M. Litt at Trinity. An accomplished storyteller and short story writer, Matthew has been involved with several multimedia projects. Recently he collaborated with visual artist Ian-John Coughlan to produce the installation The White Harvest, exhibited at The Market Studios in Dublin.

Sofia Varas - Audio Visual Assistant

Sophia is currently completing Film & TV Studies via the prestigious Guadalpin Institute, Marbella, and is carrying out work experience at One Productions. She worked as Assistant Director for the short film El Reloj, and has worked extensively on production and editing for Spanish television. Her fields of interest include documentaries, feature films, and she is also an accomplished diver!

Orla Martin - Marketing Executive

Orla is currently completing an MA in Arts Policy and Practice at NUI Galway, and is organising an exhibition of artwork at One Productions’ gallery, One Gallery. Her qualifications include a B.A. in English and French and an MA in French Literature. As a writer, publications include The Cúirt Journal, The Stony Thursday Book and the Scríobh Anthology. RTÉ have published and broadcast Orla’s short prose. She is also the winner of the NUIG Tower of Song lyric competition in 2011.
