Burren Connect

The Burren Connect CD-rom is a comprehensive introduction to the geology, history, flaura and fauna of the region, incorporating video, audio, images, slideshows, and multiple choice quizzes. One Productions developed from concept, through storyboards, to build, the CD-rom.

The edit included the generation of interactive graphics, the recording of a voice-over, and the precise syncing of the visual and audio elements. The build saw the development of five sophisticated quizzes, one on each topic covered, which the user could navigate at their own pace.

Duplicates of the CD-rom have been distributed by Clare County Council to numerous parties within the tourism industry, as well as to schools and educational authorities.

We are currently developing a DVD version of the CD-rom for the County Council.
