One Productions Win Another Digital Media Award

One Productions has won the 2007 Digital Media Award for Design (Website or Mobile Content) for their Blinder website - www.blinder.ie. The Digital Media Awards recognise the best and most innovative digital media and marketing companies and programmes.



Blinder is one of Ireland's leading TV commercials production companies. They commissioned One Productions to design a website for them which would position them amongst their fellow agencies. They wanted a very cool, highly functional website which would be capable of streaming
large video files.

The site was designed by Cormac Figgis of One Productions. He took their brief and, mixed with a combination of 50s b-movie kitsch and 70s punk DIY, produced a very distinctive looking and unique site. As an extension of the site, One Productions also produced an information brochure and collateral for an ad competition being run by Blinder
through their site.

This year, in the 5th Annual Digital Media Awards, there were 600 entries across 23 categories. One Productions has won two previous Digital Media Awards. One for the Irish Water Safety Council / Bird's Eye CD-ROM for Ireland's National Schools, the other for an original short feature film, Close.
