Our People
One Productions was founded on the turn of the millennium on January 1st, 2000, by its three directors. Having previously worked as freelance consultants, the three had begun working together on mixed media projects and quickly began to generate a high volume of production.Our team has evolved over the years to collectively become a strong creative and productive force with expert knowledge in each of the different disciplines, as well as being a nicely rowdy bunch of reprobates.
Our current key personnel are:
Tom Hopkins
Tom is an Art Director with 15 years experience in media and advertising. Since 1991, he has worked in agencies and production companies in Dublin, Milan, London and San Francisco. The extensive list of clients for whom he has completed media work include the London Underground, National Gallery of Ireland, Microsoft, Sony, BMG, Dublin Film Festival, the National Software Directorate, Digital Italia and the Pompidou Centre in Paris. While in San Francisco, he art directed the multi-million dollar launch of C-Net’s flagship news.com website, before returning to Ireland to co-found One Productions. Since that time he has been creative director on numerous advertising campaigns for public and private sector clients including the Department of Social and Family Affairs, Hot Press magazine, Gala supermarkets, the Companies Registration Office and Irish Water Safety amongst others.
Christina Brosnan
Christina gained her experience in co-ordination and management as Ireland’s youngest ever Prop Master in the film industry, working as Head of Department on features such as About Adam, The Boxer, Devil’s Own and Last September. She became familiar with the requirements of the advertising industry through TV commercials for Avonmore, Cadbury’s, SuperValu, Ballygowan, Nissan, Blue Velvet, Guinness and Crest. In 1999 she took a course in Fashion Design and Millinery at the Grafton Academy in Dublin. After serving apprenticeships with John Rocha and Cuan Hanly, she went on to be a co-founder of One Productions, where she works as account director to a broad range of clients including Bon Secours Hospitals, Reach Agency, Sisk, Bruce Shaw Partnership, Park Developments, Property Claims Direct, the Department of Health and Children, the O2 Point Club, DDDA, Mental Health Commission, O’Connor Sutton Cronin and the Irish Heart Foundation amongst others.
Dominique Ellickson
Dominique is a Director of One Productions. One of the company’s key project co-coordinators, she is responsible for the implementation and detail on communications programmes. Dominique has over twelve years’ experience in PR, advertising and event management. Before joining One Productions in 2005 as Account Director, Dominique worked in Carr Communications for 10 years as a PR Account Manager. An art college graduate, Dominique worked for two years as a sub-editor with the Evening Herald, then moving to the Sunday Independent as a features writer. Dominique is currently undertaking a BA in Psychology.
Aki
Aki joined One Productions in 2003 with over 13 years of experience in print design production and is One Productions’ resident Production Specialist. He has previously worked as an in-house designer for The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. Before joining the company, Aki also worked in a freelance design capacity for various clients, including Yliopistopaino (publishing house in Helsinki), Jubal Tuotanto, HuBu Music, TRE Records etc.
Aki’s specialist experience and knowledge of print production and preparation is a valued resource to the One Productions team.
Cormac Figgis
Cormac has vast and varied experience in graphic design having worked with a variety of clients including the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Manx National Heritage, Phillips, Eircom, Vodafone, O2, Irish Heart Foundation and Heineken.
Since, graduating from Dun Laoghaire College of Art & Design in 1989 Cormac has worked in the Animation and Graphic Design industry in Dublin and primarily London. In 1995, Cormac returned to Dublin, where he worked as Senior Multimedia Graphic Designer with Martello Media until 2000 when he moved to the Netherlands to take up the position of Graphic Designer with the then newly established Amsterdam branch of Philips Design. Cormac joined One Productions in 2003 and has led art direction on numerous large design projects over the subsequent years.
