Objective:Design and production of collateral to support the Alcohol Awareness “Think before you drink – Less is more” campaign.
Campaign:
One Productions produced a suite of collateral to tie in with the national TV and radio campaign. We developed a range of posters, mouse mats, pens, notepads, pocket calendars and wall calendars in conjunction with the Department of Health and Children, Carr Communications and Des O’Meara Advertising. One Productions also designed a 20-page booklet to provide information on alcohol, the effects of its abuse and measures to reduce consumption.
The overall campaign addresses an increasingly controversial subject, and the collateral had to present a large amount of factual information in an engaging and accessible manner.
The tone of the imagery and design was friendly and non-judgemental, presenting information through a mixture of illustrated characters and photography.
Results:
Collateral elements of the ongoing campaign were received very well at focus groups and with the general public, and large re-orders of calendars, posters and other collateral have already been placed.
