Smirnoff Dance Club Awards
The brief for the Dance Club Awards was to create an atmosphere and look for the evening that would bring together the disparate elements involved. One was commissioned to decorate and design original costumes for the host and hostesses as well as produce the audio visual sting for the award nominations.

As an extra touch One implemented a series of poster “concepts” in the toilets, predating this as an established medium. All but one of the posters in the venue were stolen on the night, which we consider a good barometer of success.

Heineken World Gigs
One designed and programmed the large-screen game mechanic for the finals of Heineken’s World Gigs promotion. This involved the contestants pushing a large button mounted in a stage podium to stop a revolving display at a random location. The contestants then won trips to this location.

The software for this application had to be rock steady and rigorously tested. We also produced a 2-minute intro clip for the World Gigs finalists event, held at the Sugar Club. The clip was shown at the event to set the tone and kick off the proceedings.In addition, One produced the music for the clip, thereby saving the client a considerable amount in licensing fees.
