Music
One Productions boasts an award-winning music composition department, led by Paul McDonnell.Paul himself was previously member of the National Radio and Television Orchestra (RTE Concert Orchestra) where he played in the percussion section for eight years while also slipping into something more comfortable to tour Europe with the early 90's Irish band The Pale.

Film Scores
One Productions have composed music for some thirteen short films, some their own productions and others by leading Irish directors including Aisling Walsh, Colm McCarthy and Denis McArdle.
Each movie scored by One Productions has won awards in festivals worldwide. Paul also acheived the accolade of Best Soundtrack at the Bordeaux Film Festival 2003 for Colm McCarthy's "The Making of a Prodigy".
Theatre
Not least among the accolades for One Productions are the two nominations received in the 2004 Irish Times/ESB Theatre Awards for their co-production of Skin Deep with Guna Nua Theatre company.
Skin Deep was devised by the two companies over a development period of a year in which the basic plot structure was outlined with unusual use of media elements written into the devising process. The final production featured pre-recorded visuals and three live cameras which were vision-mixed at each performance. The soundtrack for the show was also compsed by One.
In addition to Skin Deep, One have also scored two other plays for Guna Nua - "Burn This" by Lanford Wilson and "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare.
Advertising, Marketing and Digital Media
One Productions' music featured on numerous television commercials - and not only the ones we produce - as well as having appeared on CD-ROMs, web sites and having been licensed for use in television soundtracks.
Original Releases
What keep us (in)sane most of the time is to keep doing what we passionately want to do - and music is one of those things.
We have released two EPs, shot two music videos, recorded a Fanning Session for RTE and an album is in the pipeline for 2006. And we keep licensing our music for use in movies and TV.
Not a bad old life at all.
